How to make sure you receive emails from HR Command

Modified on Tue, 8 Sep at 3:41 PM

All emails from HR Command are sent from addresses ending in @hrcommand.com.au. To make sure these emails always reach your inbox and never end up in spam or junk, add hrcommand.com.au to your email provider's safe senders list by following the steps below.

Gmail

On your computer (gmail.com)

  1. Open Gmail in your browser and check your Spam folder for any emails from an address ending in @hrcommand.com.au.
  2. If you find one, open it and click Report not spam. It will move to your inbox.
  3. Click the search bar at the top of Gmail, then click the filter icon on the right-hand side of the search bar.
  4. In the From field, type hrcommand.com.au and click Create filter.
  5. Tick Never send it to Spam, then click Create filter.

Every email from an @hrcommand.com.au address will now go straight to your inbox.

On the Gmail app (iPhone and Android)

  1. Tap the menu (three lines, top left) and open Spam.
  2. If you see an email from an @hrcommand.com.au address, open it and tap Report not spam.

The Gmail app cannot create filters. To set this up permanently, complete the computer steps above once at gmail.com. The filter then applies everywhere, including your phone.

Outlook, Hotmail, Live and MSN

These steps apply to Outlook on the web, the new Outlook desktop app, and all @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @live.com and @msn.com addresses.

  1. Sign in to your email in a browser (outlook.com) or open the new Outlook app.
  2. Click the Settings gear icon (top right).
  3. Go to Mail > Junk email.
  4. Under Safe senders and domains, click Add.
  5. Type hrcommand.com.au and press Enter, then click Save.
  6. Check your Junk folder. If an email from @hrcommand.com.au is there, right click it and choose Report > Not junk.

Every address ending in @hrcommand.com.au is now trusted.

Classic Outlook desktop app

  1. On the Home tab, click Junk > Junk E-mail Options.
  2. Go to the Safe Senders tab and click Add.
  3. Type hrcommand.com.au, click OK, then OK again.

Outlook app (iPhone and Android)

  1. If an email from @hrcommand.com.au lands in your Junk folder, open it, tap the three dots and choose Not junk.
  2. For the permanent fix, add hrcommand.com.au to Safe senders and domains once at outlook.com in a browser (steps above). It syncs to the app automatically.

iPhone Mail app (Apple Mail)

  1. Open the Mail app and check your Junk folder for emails from @hrcommand.com.au.
  2. If you find one, open it, tap the move icon and move it to your Inbox. Apple Mail learns from this over time.

Apple Mail does not have a safe senders list. For a permanent fix, complete the steps for your email provider (Gmail or Outlook) in a browser as above. The setting carries over to your iPhone automatically.

Still not receiving our emails?

If you have followed the steps above and are still missing emails from HR Command:

  1. Search your mailbox for hrcommand.com.au to check whether emails are arriving in another folder.
  2. Check with your IT team or office administrator, as your organisation's email system may have its own filtering in place.
  3. Contact HR Command support and we will help you sort it out.
